iO Sounds returns for his second Symbols release, this time collaborating with fellow UK artist, Lakosa. Both have recently completed a short run of shows on the Skreamizm tour. The opening title track, Mindgames, features vocalist Riya and really sets the tone for the whole EP. Technical beats, lush atmosphere and big reverberating synth stabs which flows perfectly into the second track, Absense. Ruff turns up the attitude with its unique percussive nature. Bobby Tank delivers a signature remix of Mindgames with his melodic and funky basslines which ends in a swinging half-time vibe. Fresh, young artist Kiri gives the same title track a serious body moving house workout.
